Sponsor a city

People reading a city page here are standing next to a pile they need gone. Some would rather pay someone to haul it. An area sponsorship puts your hauling business in front of them, on that city page and every facility page in that city.

Pricing

To buy, open the city page you want and use the Sponsor this city link at the bottom. The link carries the page's id to checkout, so the placement lands in the right spot.

How it works

1. Pick a city page and click "Sponsor this city" at the bottom of it. Each city has room for two sponsors.
2. Pay by card through Stripe and enter your business name, website and phone number.
3. We check that your website loads over HTTPS and your phone number is valid. Most cards go live within a few minutes.
4. Cancel any time from the Stripe customer portal. Your card comes off at the end of the paid period.

What we never change for money

• Facility order, hours, fees, accepted materials and every other fact on the site stay exactly the same whether or not anyone pays.
• Sponsors are never listed as facilities, never appear in our facility tables, and never appear in the structured data search engines read for facility pages.
• Every sponsor card says Sponsored. Its link is marked as a paid link (rel="sponsored").
• Facility operators cannot pay to rank higher, to hide a listing or to change how one is described.

Content rules

• The business must serve the city it sponsors.
• Plain text only: business name, one line of up to 160 characters, phone and website. No prices we cannot verify, no "best" or "#1" claims, no claims about any facility.
• The website must be the business's own, load over HTTPS and match the business name.
• We remove a card that breaks these rules, misleads readers or stops working, and refund the unused part of the period.
